1. Sujeet Desai  

Sujeet Desai is the first Down Syndrome musician to have played in Carnegie Hall which is one of the most renowned musical halls in the world. Madeline was the second person with Down Syndrome who was given the opportunity to walk on stage at the New York Fashion Week after the Down Syndrome actor, Jamie Brewer.

Ever since then, she was constantly invited to several fashion shows as a model. Madeline was also involved in the Paris Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, and many others. In fact, this beautiful girl was also listed in Vogue and Forbes magazines as one of the most successful models out there.

3. Pablo Pineda

This individual is slightly different than others on this list as he is not just an actor but also an educator. To top it all off, he was also the first European Down Syndrome individual to have obtained a university degree. He completed both of his Diplomas in Teaching and Psychological Education.

In the film industry, he was featured in one particular film about a university graduate with Down Syndrome. 4. Zach Gottsagen

Zach Gottsagen is an actor that has starred in several movies in which one of his most famous debuts will be in The Peanut Butter Falcon(2019). He also became the first Down Syndrome individual to receive an award together with Shia LaBeouf at the awards academy.

Ever since he was little, medical experts kept telling Gottsagen that he will be able to walk or even talk. With the help of his mother, he managed to prove to the world that nothing is impossible to be achieved.

5. Tim Harris

Tim Harris is an athlete that has won many gold medals in the Paralympics which is another version of the Olympics. He competes in various types of sports like basketball, hockey, volleyball, and golf as well as field and track events.

On top of that, Tim was also one of the most successful American individuals with Down Syndrome who opens his own restaurant. His restaurant was given the name Tim's Place in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Tim also established his own foundation which he named Tim's Big Heart Foundation where he hoped to give inspiration to everyone around the world that nothing is impossible.

6. Chelsea Werner

This is another great athlete on this list as she not only competes in the Paralympic gymnasts but also happens to be a great model. When she was little, her doctors always told Chelsea that she will not be able to walk due to her muscle problem.

However, a turnaround occurs as she managed to prove the doctor wrong by winning the American Championship 4 times in the gymnastics category at the Paralympics. Chelsea has also ventured into modeling and became the decorator for Teen Vogue magazine.

7.  Jamie Brewer

Jamie Brewer is a Down Syndrome actor who has starred in many television series and Hollywood movies. Some of her most stunning acts will be in the series, American Horror Story.

Brewer also happens to be the first Down Syndrome individual to have won the Best Drama Actor Award for the Drama Desk Award and became the first Down Syndrome person to have walked on stage at the New York Fashion Week in 2015.

Brewer has worked together with several bodies to abolish the use of the word "Retard" in the Texas legislation and replace them with "Intellectual Developmental Disability" in all official wordings.
