According to an annual study by Global 500 conducted by the popular magazine Fortune, companies from the US and China have continued to dominate the global market towards becoming the biggest in the world.

Overall, companies listed in the Global 500 are responsible for business trade worth $31.7 trillion in the year 2021. The value slightly drops from the previous year 2020 which records as the highest so far at $33.3 trillion.

Most of the companies are involved in sectors such as energy, finance, transportation, automotive, technology, telecommunication, and lastly retail and wholesale. Here we would like to share with you the top 10 biggest companies in the world in terms of revenue.

10. Volkswagen (Germany)

Revenue 2021: $283 billion
